Highlight of the day include: • Tamils in the UK and workers’ right - Discussion after the General Election: with leading trade unionists from PCS     civil service union, BFAWU food workers, UNISON public sector, UNITE general workers and RMT transport           union. •  Defending refugee rights - Discussion with Refugee Rights Campaign and activists from Kashmir, Bangladesh,        Kurdish/Turkish, Sri Lanka and in Britain. Plus Q &amp; A with legal representatives. • Meena Kandasamy, writer, poet and translator will read from her new book - “When I Hit You: Or, A Portrait of   the Writer as a Young Wife”
