Without the pressure of making 'good' art instead allowing yourself to go with instinct, hunches and vibes, come and create whatever you fancy then discuss it (if you want) in a compassionate space in the heart of Sheffield .
In the comfortable, cosy surroundings of Nomad Maison, we will gather together on Solstice. This culmination point in the calendar representing light, abundance and the beginning of summer is a time for celebration and gratitude.
All materials will be provided, please just bring yourself and an openness to possibility. The sharing circle after we have completed our drawings is an opportunity to talk about whatever you like. It is not compulsory to share though this will be a confidential space where the opportunity to be witnessed and metaphorically held will be available.
Who am I to be holding such a space?
I'm Claire Goodey of Goosey Gatherings. You can find more about me as a psychotherapist at www.clairegoodey.com. Goosey Gatherings are about therapeutic space, this is not group therapy. It is my aim that my ability to hold space, think creatively and bring enthusiasm allows others to feel courageous, curious and increasingly confident to discover and be themselves.
