Join us at St Andrew's Church, Aller on Somerset Day to celebrate Alfred's defeat of Guthrum at the Battle of Ethandun, and subsequent baptism of Guthrum at Aller church.

Kith & Kin is a unique opportunity to hear authentic Old English, carefully woven into the piece in such a way as to encourage comprehension and enjoyment.

Drawn from extensive research, the show features short excerpts from various famous Anglo-Saxon texts. No prior knowledge of the period is required!
