Life, love, death and music – tales of growing up, getting angry and getting on in the middle of England from the 1970’s to the present day.
Poetic stories of teenage life and middle age inspired by Ska, Punk, Reggae, Tamla, Rock and record collecting. 
Elvis is reincarnated in Brum, a chip shop owner gets his just desserts, a teenager in love pays the price for apathy, a young boy takes a bus trip with the girl of his dreams, two brothers fight over a record player, old punks reform their band, the Two Tone Tour hits town, a one sided love affair and much much more... 
Presented by Coventry poet Nick Knibb AKA The Archbishop.
Nick Knibb is a poet based in Coventry and in July 2016 performed a specially commissioned set of poems called 'Coventry, the Specials and me' for the City of Culture bid at the Godiva Festival 2016 - Cov Telegraph "A masterclass in storytelling".
He's appeared supporting punk bands and poets (Sharks, Shag Nasty, Xtraverts, The Accused, Attila the Stockbroker etc) all across the West Midlands and London and has appeared on local radio several times talking poetry, punk and the midlands.
The main topic for his poetry is music (primarily of the 70s 80s), growing up, getting old, getting angry and getting downright lovely all with a splash of social commentary. One of his poems was included in a anthology of verse about Birmingham (released Feb 2017) and he appeared at the Verve Poetry Festival in Birmingham in Feb 2017.
He delivered a performance of '1974: Love Poems' at the Shoot Festival in Coventry in March 2017.
