Sonderhaus Art Club returns with a new edition focused on wearable art

Sonderhaus Art Club is a monthly creative night where each edition explores a different medium. Every event is hands on, social, and designed for people who want to make something without pressure or expectations.

For this January edition, we’re working with wearable art, focusing on customising hats using jewellery and mixed materials. Guided by My Trove Jewels, you’ll experiment with charms, pins, chains, and decorative elements to transform a hat into a one of a kind piece.

You’re welcome to bring your own hat to work on. If you don’t have one, hats will be available on the night so everyone can take part. All other materials and tools are provided.

This isn’t a traditional class. There’s no step by step outcome and no right or wrong way to do it. You’ll be supported throughout, but encouraged to follow your own ideas and see where they lead.

Live DJ music will be playing throughout the evening, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere where you can take your time, chat, and create at your own pace.

You’ll leave with a customised hat and a creative experience that feels personal, expressive, and different from the usual workshop format.
