Songversations is a six-week, women-only wellbeing workshop series held every Saturday from 14:00–15:30, starting on Saturday 21st February 2026. Using group singing and lyrical reflection, the sessions create a safe, supportive space for women to connect, reflect, and support their emotional wellbeing.
No singing experience is needed — this is not about performance. The focus is wellness, self-expression, and connection. Through gentle guided singing, reflective discussion, and shared conversation, participants are invited to explore life experiences, overcome challenges, and build confidence in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Light refreshments are provided at every session.
Songversations also offers the chance to meet new people and form meaningful connections with other women.
This program forms part of a PhD research project exploring the impact of singing in women-only groups on wellbeing and social connection. The research is led by Queeni Lindsay, Postgraduate Researcher at City, University of London, and Director of Charis Creative Health CIC, a women- and girls-focused wellness social enterprise.
Participants who attend all six workshops will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.
