New Earth Theatre in association with Museum of the Home presents Sonic Phở - The Audio Dining Experience. As part of the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture 2022’s We Are Lewisham.

To celebrate the Vietnamese national dish, Phở, we are hosting an intimate Chef’s demo followed by a supper club in a traditional Vietnamese restaurant.

You will be taken through a live demonstration, showcasing what goes into making this beloved staple of Vietnamese cuisine.

Once the demonstration has finished, you will be guided to enjoy a tasty bowl of Phở at a local partnering restaurant. 

Whilst eating, guests will listen to an accompanying audio story with poetry created by Anna Nguyen and award-winning sound designer Nicola T. Chang. To enjoy the story, we ask that you bring a smartphone and compatible headphones.

Phở is a popular noodle soup dish from Vietnam and a firm favourite in Vietnamese restaurants across the world.
