Celeste, Kate and Kim welcome you to the Sounds Peachey Sound Bath Meditation!
What to expect:
We start with a simple, interactive meditation which aims to guide your understanding on how resonance works within your own body. We move on to a variety of sacred instruments, including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, voice, rattle and wind gong. Our soundscape induces a harmonious state within the body. We ensure you are grounded and fit to drive after the event!
What to bring:
We offer chairs to sit on, but if you prefer to lie on the carpeted floor, please bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket for your comfort.
Where to go:
The Lecture Room is inside the museum, and can be accessed through the main museum entrance until 4pm, or use the side gate to the left of the museum as you face the front door. Please wait in the foyer until we have prepared the room for you. The site has ramps and accessible toilets. The nearest car park is Waitrose, which is chargeable, and is a 10 - 15 minute walk to the venue. We start punctually.
Want to learn more about sound?
If you are fascinated by the instruments, as many of us are, please talk to us at the end. We are happy to answer questions and guide you to use the instruments with our supervision
