Sound, stillness and easeWe’ll gather at beautiful Norman Park Community Sports Centre for a nourishing sound bath that invites compassion, openness, and soulful connection.Immersed in the healing frequencies of sound, you will be gently guided on a meditative journey inward. Through intention, mindful awareness, and sonic vibration, you’ll be invited to reconnect with yourself, cultivating compassion and inner harmony.This nurturing sound journey supports relaxation, emotional balance, mental clarity, and a gentle release of tension. The sound bath includes:<ul><li>Shamanic Instruments – grounding, gently guiding the inner journey</li><li>Handgong - cosmic vibrations, expansion</li><li>Crystal Singing Bowls – deep relaxation, harmony</li><li>Koshi Chimes – ethereal tones, gentle transitions</li></ul>Instruments are played softly and intuitively, creating a soothing journey for body, mind, and spirit. Oracle cards will also be available for insight and connection. Together, these practices nurture inner peace, restore balance, and leave you feeling lighter, clearer, and renewed. All are welcome. What to bring?Yoga mats are provided at the venue. Feel free to bring extra cushioning if needed.Please bring a pillow or two for under the head/knees and a cozy blanket for comfort, as you will be laying down most of the time.Wear comfortable clothing.You may want to bring a bottle of water for rehydration. ArrivingPlease arrive in time for a prompt start at 2pm. There is a short grace period, but once the the meditation has started, latecomers will not be admitted. If you arrive after this point, please do not knock. Thank you for understanding - this helps ensure a calm, uninterrupted experience for all participants.Before entering the room, please leave your shoes in the shoe rack provided outside. ParkingThere is a free car park area at the venue. PrecautionsSound healing and Reiki are gentle wellbeing practices. These sessions are not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy or for those with a pacemaker. For other conditions—such as sound-induced epilepsy, certain types of tinnitus, metal implants, heart conditions, recent surgery, or mental health conditions that could be affected by sound or energy-based practices—please check with a healthcare professional before attending. About your facilitatorPernilla is a CMA certfied Sound healing and Reiki facilitator devoted to guiding others on a transformative journey toward self-discovery and inner balance. With a deep passion for sound therapy and Reiki energy work, she combines her expertise as a yoga teacher to create a relaxing and restorative experience. Rooted in shamanic traditions and the meditative practices of Zen Buddhism, she offers a holistic approach that promotes healing on every level – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
