Sound Bath

I'm Angela . I used to work as a self-employed management consultant with the NHS and I have a MSc in Healthcare.During that time, I also trained as a massage therapist, aromatherapist,  a Chakra Dancing teacher and a Reiki Master.Life took a turn, and I found myself back in the corporate world this time as an employee.My stress levels hit the roof, my central nervous system became frayed, and I felt like I was lost.I started my yoga journey as a way to reconnect.  We live in a world where everything is 100 miles an hour, and yoga gave me the opportunity to stop , connect and destress.I then decided to take a Yoga Teacher trainers course and qualified in June 2024 at 56 years of age.  I've been teaching since Feb 2024.I also run retreats and events and teach classes in Frinton on Sea and Holland on Sea.I am a member of Yoga Teachers Together.I teach yoga for beginners. This can still be a challenging class and if you attend regularly, you will see an improvement in flexibility, mobility, and body strength. Release stagnant energies. any any resistance you are having right now to change, as we relax into the meditative sounds of the sound bath.Healing with sound dates back as far as ancient Greece.Apollo was the god of music and medicine. Aesculapius cured mental disorders with songs. The philosophers Plato and Aristotle claimed that music affected the soul and the emotions. Hippocrates played music for his patients, too.In Ancient Egypt, music therapy was a staple in temples.In biblical times, instruments were used to vanquish evil spirits from human souls.Native American culture uses song and dance to heal the sick.The evening will encompass many different instruments as a means for relaxation and a guided journey meditation that will enable you to go within and allow you to free flow where you mind requires you to be as we open the heart for healing.Everyone's experience will be different.
