Sound Responsive LED Light Workshop with Sean Clark

LU Arts is Loughborough University's arts programme, offering students, staff and the wider community opportunities to get creative and get involved in the arts.Over the academic year LU Arts presents a mixed events programme of live performances, hands-on workshops, exhibitions, creative evening classes, talks and short courses as well asRadar, its contemporary art programme, where artists respond to research undertaken at Loughborough University.

Award-winning digital artist and Loughborough Computer Science graduate Sean Clark will be running a workshop exploring the create uses of Arduino, 3D printing and programming. He'll provide some background on his own work and then show attendees how to make a sound responsive LED light-work using an Arduino, pixel LED and microphone. The light-works will then be shown as part of the Algorave event in Cognito's in the evening.
