Join our field visit on 27 June at Pelta Medical Papers with our speaker, Debbie Sumner, Health and Safety Manager at Pelta Medical Papers who will be hosting the event. Debbie is an experienced health and safety professional and Branch committee member.the following agenda:
An overview of the range of work activities onsite and of the site’s health and safety management systems - with an insight into particularly challenging safety problems and how they have been resolved.
A tour of the site, and discussion of control of contractors.
A concluding discussion about the visit and thanks.
PPE requirements for site visits:
• Steel toe cap footwear. from car park
• Hi-Viz vest or jacket from car park
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection. (this will be provided)
Itinerary:
13:00 - Arrival - Sign In and refreshments.
13:30 - Induction and Overview
14:15 - Group split into groups of 10 - site tour with Safety observation sheet.
15:00 - Back to meeting area to discuss findings.
15:45 - Refreshments and networking.
16:15 - Close
