40 years ago, Southall was rocked by violent racism that saw the murder of two young men - Gurdip Singh Chaggar and Blair Peach. In response, the whole community came together. Learning from past struggles, it took on murderous racism and facsism and won - inspiring other communities in the UK and a generation of new activists and artists across the UK

The memorial walk recounts that important history and explains the context that energised different sections of Southall's population for that challenge. It tries to make sense of important cutural landmarks and uses images, space, film and guest speakers to capture the past in order to understand the present.

Visitng inportant buildings, the 'walk' will last between 2 hours and 2hours and 15 minutes. The donation of £5 per person will include lunch
