Space Invader events are places we can discuss inequality in the sector, build tools to help us deal with it and network with like minded feminists.

Space Invaders Continues...
An aim of the <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/space-invaders-women-museum-leaders-tickets-20857114190" TARGET="_self">'Space Invaders: Women Museum Leaders'</A> conference held in March, was to create a sense of solidarity in our sector and to make positive change that will bring improved opportunities to anyone who feels that the route to leadership might be a challenge for them.
"This is a historic moment, museum women coming together. Let's have change now."
Shami Chakrabarti made it clear in her speech at the conference, that now is the time to effect change.  If you'd like to be a part of that change, then join us for 'Space Invaders: Part II'.

6.10pm    Sylvia Pankhurst and the East London Federation of Suffragettes: class and gender, Professor Mary Davis
Mary Davis is Professor of Labour History and former Deputy-Director of the Working Lives Research Institute.
6.40 pm    Break for Refreshments

6.45 pm Campaign Workshop
This part of the evening will allow delegates to explore the issues that they feel passionately about. Campaigns specialists will help us to test ideas and help navigate the best way for us build alliances and bring about the changes that we want to see.
