Cash sales at BALTIC Information Desk Space to Think is an exciting opportunity to explore questions raised by artworks in this season’s exhibitions. Led by Grace Robinson and Liz Watkins Community Philosophers at Thinking Space, this series of workshops encourages group discussion and debate in an informal setting. Thinking Space promotes philosophical dialogue and enquiry, by creating interesting and inclusive spaces for people to talk and think together. You don't have to know much about art or philosophy to take part, and we won’t lecture you. Discussions arise naturally out of participants’ first responses, emerging ideas and personal interests. Ticket price includes a hot drink and biscuits.
 Session topics:
Sunday 12 July 2015 An interactive philosophical enquiry on abstraction and representation in art using the paintings of Tony Swain.
Sunday 16 August 2015 An interactive philosophical enquiry on chance looking at Ida Ekblad’s ground floor exhibition.
Sunday 4 October 2015 An interactive philosophical enquiry about knowledge using the archival installations of Fiona Tan.
