Spanish Conversation Workshop

My name is Kelly Thornhill I moved back to the UK in 2013 after living in South America for 15 years where I owned and operated a Travel Agency specialising in Wine Tours.  I am fluent to native level in Spanish with many years teaching experience at different levels.My love affair with the Spanish language began at High School, however it was only when I arrived in Venezuela in 2000 that I was able to develop it further – when I had my first experience of an intensive course. Since then I have enjoyed the privilage of taking many Spanish courses in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina. I run the adult Spanish courses for The Link at Sandbach Boys School in the evenings. I also run Online Courses for adults and am launching my second bilingual childrens book with Jude Lennon later this year.

Kelly Thornhill

This two-hour workshop is designed for intermediate students who are in need of conversation practice. The aim of the workshop is to improve confidence when speaking and develop listening skills.
The focus of the workshop will be on student participation through role play. Students will be presented with a range of different scenarios for which, working in pairs, they will hold full conversations. 
The workshop opens with introductions, whereby each participant will introduce themselves in Spanish to the rest of the group. There will then be opportunities to take part in the role play pratice followed by Q&A at the end.
