Speak Up - User Group

Open to any members aged 11 or over. In the past we have discussed what it means to have downs syndrome, health and well being and safe use of public transport. Topics can be chosen by members - but there is a facilitator there who is a trained speech and laguage therapist and a member of staff from DS Manchester is present. The idea is that the group will use thier voice to make sure their opinions are heard - wether that influences future events at DS Manchester or even goverment policy. Dinner provided.
