Art Fund London Events Fundraising Committee are a team of dedicated volunteers who organise a quarterly programme of London-based events to raise money for the Art Fund.Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. In the past five years alone Art Fund has given £34 million to help museums and galleries acquire works of art for their collections. Art Fund is independently funded, with the core of its income provided by 151,000 members who receive the National Art Pass and enjoy free entry to over 240 museums, galleries and historic places across the UK, as well as 50% off entry to major exhibitions and subscription to Art Quarterly magazine.  Find out more at www.artfund.org.uk

Turner-Prize winning artist Grayson Perry is one of Britain’s best-known contemporary artists. His works touch upon a range of social issues including class and politics, sex and religion, as well as current concerns such as Brexit. 
With Art Fund support, tapestries, pots and etchings by Grayson Perry have entered UK museum collections from Bath to Brighton and beyond. Art Fund director Stephen Deuchar introduces the event.

This ticket also includes free admission (normal price £20) on the day to the ‘Works on Paper Fair’, presenting early, modern and contemporary art on paper under one roof. Open 11am to 9pm at the Royal Geographical Society.  Please see www.worksonpaper.com for more information about the Fair.
