Grow is an independent and grassroots cultural space with international impact, based in Hackney Wick. Since 2014, our aim is to remove financial barriers to extend opportunities to enjoy a creative and nurturing environment whilst exploring ecological and social sustainability. Grow spans genres and celebrates diverse culture from around the globe to down the road. <h4>Join us at Grow for an evening exploring experimental project - Speculative ReMemory - which includes audio and visual work made as part of an engagement project at Alice Billing House in Stratford.</h4><p><br></p><p>These cumulative creative contributions have emerged from a network of artists and local communities, and draws upon non-traditional methodologies, indigenous practices of storytelling and the collation of stories to create a body of work that utilises experimental formats of archival and artistic outcomes. Rooted in feminist and anti-colonial epistemologies, the intention has been to unearth the rhizomatic connective tissues between past, present and future.</p><p>Expect excerpts from the digital archive, physical representations and a chance to meet artists involved in the project.  </p><p>The <a href="https://www.alicebillinghouse.co.uk/archive-alice-billing-house-stratford" title="https://www.alicebillinghouse.co.uk/archive-alice-billing-house-stratford" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">archive project</a> is led by artist and programme facilitator, Sandra Falase, part of an engagement programme run by <a href="https://www.growhackneystudios.co.uk/" title="https://www.growhackneystudios.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Grow Studios </a>at Alice Billing House in Stratford, supported by the <a href="https://creativelandtrust.org/" title="https://creativelandtrust.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Land Trust</a> and <a href="https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/" title="https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Heritage Lottery Fund</a>.</p>
