Speed Friending Event For Book Lovers

Looking to meet new people who get your love of books—without the pressure of small talk or big crowds? The Science and Philosophy Book Club is organizing a cozy, low-key Speed Friending night made just for book lovers. You'll have relaxed, one-on-one conversations with fellow readers in a calm and friendly setting. Whether you like to be immersed in creative fantasy worlds, thoughtful nonfiction, or just want to chat about your latest read, this is a safe, welcoming space to make meaningful connections—at your own pace.

We will provide prompts at the event to help with the conversations to be deep and engaging. If you bring your favourite books, it will be a great conversation starter as well. This is perfect for those who dislike small talk. Three questions are banned in our event: Where are you from? What's your job? Why are you in London? We move beyond the superficial and go to the heart and soul. This is where meaningful friendships are made.
