This programme is designed for local and international businesses in Dorset across the marine and maritime supply chains. The aim of the programme is to network, learn and grow business.

"A SMART PORT IS NOT DEFINED BY THE USE OF ANY ONE PARTICULAR TECHNOLOGY OR CONCEPT" - Smart Ports AllianceJoin the partners of the Interreg Smart Ports Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Development Project to discover what has been achieved over three years, and what the future holds for smart ports.The showcase starts with a mini expo and trade stands, allowing attendees to network and understand some of the technology applications developed over the three year SPEED project.

From 15:30 the speakers and panel session will focus first on the outputs and legacies of SPEED, before introducing Kevin Martin and The Smart Ports Alliance.

A great learn from SPEED has been the benefit of a challenge based approach to innovation, and this will be illustrated by Que Tran, Regional CIO of DP World.

We hope this will be the launch of a first SPA collaborative innovation challenge, before the themes are explored further in a panel discussion.
