Michael Berkeley ARPS is a sports and music photographer based near Salisbury, UK.
He specialises in live-action coverage across nearly 40 sports, as well as music events and travel photography. Michael serves as house photographer at The Joiners music venue in Southampton and regularly shoots for Hampshire Cricket Club, Salisbury Football Club and Druids Lodge Polo Club.
Michael's talk will provide an insight into his life as a freelance sport photographer and is structured around:
- Before - what he does to prepare before going out on assignment (kit, doing his homework, clarifying requirements etc);
- During - what happens during the shoot itself (arrival routine, camera settings, shooting plan);
- After - what he does after the assignment (post production workflow, what to do with the photos, charging).
