<h1>J﻿oin your hosts, Concrete Nature, Slow Stitch Studio and Steph Liddle Ceramics on Saturday 22nd April for one workshop, or the whole day and participate in 2 workshops. Supported by Creative Scotland.</h1><h3>T﻿he workshops are suitable for ages 18+ and all stages of learning and experience. </h3><p></p><p><strong>C﻿oncrete Nature will host 'Print: Pattern + Paper, Collage + Bookbinding' (10am - 12.30pm)</strong></p><p>Join Clementine from Concrete Nature to explore her fascinating world of paper, colour and pattern through collage and bookbinding. You will learn to make your own notebook and create a series of prompted collages inspired by Civic House’s wonderfully contrasting surroundings. She’ll guide and educate, talk about the history of print and paper and leave you with your mind feeling full!  </p><p></p><p><strong>S﻿low Stitch Studio will host 'Textiles: Patchwork Quilting, Structure + Organic Shapes in Fabric' (10am - 12.30pm)</strong></p><p>J﻿oin Eva from Slow Stitch Studio to  play with beautiful scraps of fabric and stitch your own small  quilt to display on your wall or develop further into something larger. Eva will talk you through techniques of patchwork and stitches to use. You'll gather ideas and develop your designs all under the gaze of her knowledge and expertise.  She’ll guide and educate, talk about the history of quilting and leave you with your mind feeling full! </p><p></p><p><strong>S﻿teph Liddle will host 'Ceramics: Surface Pattern + Illustration on Cast Ceramics' (1.30pm - 4pm)</strong></p><p>Join Steph Liddle to gather inspiration from the wonderful architecture and nature surrounding Civic House, learn how Steph slip casts her pottery and work on your own surface and pattern designs to decorate your ceramic piece. She’ll guide and educate, discuss her clay process and leave you with your mind feeling full! </p><p>No ceramic experience is necessary - Steph will be providing pre-made ceramic forms for you to work on, but anyone working in clay is welcome to bring their own greenware or bisque fired work.</p><p></p>

<h3>S﻿UPPORTED BY CREATIVE SCOTLAND</h3><p>Our workshops are a series of 6 workshops and corresponding markets + exhibitions. The workshops will allow an insight to the maker, their skills, inspirations and offer you the opportunity to learn directly from them, while having complete freedom to experiment.</p><h3>TICKETS</h3><p>E﻿arly Bird tickets are on sale until 22nd March. / Standard price will be on sale from 22nd March until 21st April. Choose between a single ticket or 2 workshops (AM Concrete Nature or Slow Stitch and PM Steph Liddle - <em>we will email you and ask to confirm which AM workshop you'd like to take part in</em>).</p><p>Reduced tickets are available for low-income and unemployed individuals, as well as individuals receiving benefits and/or financial support.
