Spotlight: Asylum Art
Join us to explore asylum patient art
Join us at the Physicians’ Gallery on the last Wednesday of every month at 12.30pm for a curator-led talk exploring one of the objects on display in our Gallery.
Our topic for this talk is the history of asylum art - exploring the creative work of Victorian patients. These asylum residents documented their dreams, their inventions and their day-to-day lives in these deeply personal artworks.
This 20 minute talk is free, but booking is required. The meeting point is in the Gallery.
