What to expect during the workshop:
• During this 90-minute workshop, Samantha will begin with a short introduction to EFT and how it works.
• She will then guide participants through a series of short, individual EFT sessions (around 10 minutes each), responding to questions and themes that participants bring forward. While these sessions will be based on individual contributions, the tapping will be highly beneficial for everyone, as many of the limiting beliefs and challenges faced by artists and actors are shared.
• The workshop will close with a short Q&A, leaving participants with practical tools they can continue to use in their creative careers.
What to bring:
• A glass or bottle of water as hydration highly benefits the work we will be doing.
• A pen and some paper should you want to take notes, although this is completely optional.
What is EFT:
EFT (Emotional Freedom technique) also known as Tapping, is a transformative technique that blends neuroscience, modern psychology, and Chinese medicine. It uses the body’s meridian system (think of an intricate electrical panel) and helps energy flow better through the body, by gently tapping on specific points along these meridians (think acupuncture without the needles).
While taping on these points, affirmations and statements said out loud help to access the subconscious mind and reprogram beliefs and patterns that were formed during our childhood. Similar to Hypnotherapy, NLP or even EMDR, EFT can help us transform limiting beliefs, process emotions and get rid of patterns that no longer serves us. However EFT is unique in its simplicity - it’s easy to learn and practice on your own, even in short sessions of just a few minutes - which makes it a very effective pattern interruptor in any situation, and particularly for actors: for instance when nerves kick in before an audition or going on stage.
About Samantha Schnitzler:
Samantha, is a certified EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner, actress and writer. She first fell in love with EFT as a tool she could use daily for her own wellbeing and decided shortly after to get certified to help other creatives feel better. Using this technique Samantha has now worked with countless creatives in the Film, TV and Theatre industry - from actors to casting directors, directors, and agents - helping them find more peace, happiness, reduce their stress and anxiety and manifest their desires with more ease.
Last year she started facilitating The Creative Tap: weekly free online tapping sessions for actors, where they can transform their subconscious minds together in a safe space. An actress herself, Samantha combines her knowledge of the industry and the subconscious narratives creatives face, to offer personalized sessions that get to the root of the issue and lead to transformational results. Following the success of her two previous Spotlight workshops, she’s delighted to introduce this new interactive format in which attendees will have the opportunity to work with her directly in tailored liventapping sessions, designed to create meaningful breakthroughs.
