Spotlight Success Sessions: Self tape Q&A with Manuel Puro

Ticket Limitations: Members may attend as many Zoom Webinars as they wish.

Age: 18+

Format: Seminar style, attendees' mics, and cameras will be turned off. You will be able to submit questions during the session, however just to manage expectations we won't be able to answer them all.

Questions must be generic, we cannot give advice about personal circumstances.

About the workshop:

The session in May was so popular, we are just going to open it up to a general Q&A session where you can come and ask us any burning questions you have about self-tapes.

So please come prepared with your questions!

About the Facilitator:

Manuel Puro has over 25 years casting experience working across feature films, television, computer games, music videos, commercials and shorts.Projects include MOON and MUTE directed by Duncan Jones, Oscar and BAFTA nominated SHAUN THE SHEEP: FARMAGEDDON for Aardman Animation and PLANET OF THE APES: THE LAST FRONTIER, the first in-house video game from Andy Serkis’ The Imaginarium.

In 2017 Manuel created The Acting Habit, an innovative online training platform where actors from all over the world can share their work, receive and give feedback, experiment creatively and learn new technical skills.He has hosted casting workshops all over the world, and has devised and runs self-tape modules for several high profile drama schools both in the UK and abroad.

He is regularly invited to host mentoring and training sessions with organizations such as the National Film and Television School, Equity, iFeatures and the Directors Guild of Great Britain.
