Spring Birding
Join the Inverness chapter of the Feminist Bird Club to explore nature together. We'll have a gentle wander and see what birds we can spot.
Join us for an inclusive nature walk, and a gentle exploration of the birds of Merkinch Local Nature Reserve. We'll keep an eye and ear out for signs of spring.
All levels of experience, interest, genders, abilities and ages welcome. Lots of people come on their own, so it's a great place to meet new folk.
We’ll walk around a loop of the nature reserve, mainly on paths but a section is over grass which could be muddy. There is also a section of boardwalk with some steps, but there are alternative step-free routes if needed. The whole walk is approximately 1.5km.
We will have a couple of pairs of binoculars and ID guides to share, but they're not essential.
