Spring Equinox Promenade

The Peckham Refreshment Rooms are located in a 1930s Art Deco block backing onto Peckham Rye train Station.The Refreshment Rooms is a neighbourhood restaurant, serving seasonal and regionally conscious European cuisine  alongside selected wines and cocktails.Open day and night we share our joy of food and drink, whether it be coffee or charcuterie, a glass of wine after work or a bottle over dinner.

<P>To celebrate the spring equinox, we are teaming up with Review Bookshop on Bellenden Road for a joint literary and food event. The evening will start at Review with a homemade aperitif to toats the new spring. Katia, who runs Review, will be sharing some stories from her childhood equinoxes spent with her pagan mother and her coven. This will be followed by a reading from Evie Wyld, winner of the John Llewelyn Rhys Prize and a Betty Trask Award. Evie will be reading from her third novel, The Wynches, due out in 2019.</P>
<P>After all this literary goodness, we will stroll to the Refreshment Rooms for a 3 course celebration of spring food - including roasted meats, wild garlic pesto, chargrilled onions and homemade fresh cows curd with salted lemons. </P>
