Spring Floragami Workshop

Celebrate the joy of Spring with this Floragami workshop. Crafternoon tea with paper tulip making and a cream tea.

‘The tulip is the loveliest of all flowers.’ You can demonstrate the truth of the classic quote with this two-hour Floragami taster session. If you have never made paper flowers before, this is a chance to try for the first time.

Learn how to cut and shape the petals from hand-dyed crepe paper and then bring the flowers to life with leaves. Experienced paper-flower worker Meg will take you through the morning helping capture your creative flair in a calm atmosphere connecting with fellow craftspeople.

Experience is not necessary as this is a beginner’s session. If you have never done anything like this before and want to try a new pastime to ground yourself and relax, this is the opportunity to do so. Everyone taking part will also leave with a bunch of colourful spring tulips.

Once you have finished creating the floral shape of Spring, celebrate the season and your new friendships with everyone else taking part with your choice of one of our indulgent Cream Teas after your two-hour workshop. Choose from

💖 Pink Cream Tea with two plain pink scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam, served with a large pot of our Assembly House Afternoon Blend Tea
