About this event

  • Event lasts 8 hours

Join our very own Wendy on a wonderful circular hike around Virginia Water and experience the gardens in full bloom, the woodlands and the water that could remind you of a lake in Canada. And this less than an hour away from London! Meaning that you can have plans in the evening...
Originally conceived as a Royal pleasure ground, Virginia Water lies at the Southern edge of Windsor Great Park.
The 2-mile-long lake is a popular destination and is surrounded by woodlands, lush gardens where each season has its highlight and historical buildings.
Spring is the best season when it comes to flowers, you will be surrounded by Azaleas, rhododendron and many more colourful blooms and essences of trees from around the world.
You will be given plenty of time to take your next profile picture and take those shots you really want to take.
On this trip, you will walk through a sea of colours, pink, red, fuchsia, purple, white,... you will breath in the fragrances of the spring and enjoy some glorious views of woodlands, a lake and a beautiful waterfall! And let's not forget about the roman ruins...

About halfway through, you will have a rest at a nice little outdoor cafe...psstt, they have tasty cakes. You will then carry on to the valley garden which will be the highlight of the day.
If you want to fully enjoy the Spring and have an easy-ish hike while taking your time to photograph, experience and have a laugh with a wonderful and knowledgeable guide, this is a trip for you! Wendy's reputation as a kind hearted, loveable, adorable, professional and simply wonderful, really is an absolute truth and she will make your day even better than you would expect from any other guide...

Now, time to book yourself on a gorgeous day out in the great British countryside...
