🌿 Spring & Summer Foraging Walk
Thorncroft Farm, near Box Hill
Join me for a relaxed foraging walk through fields, hedgerows, and the elder orchard at Thorncroft Farm.
We’ll spend a few gentle hours learning to recognise common edible and useful plants — including seasonal favourites like wild garlic or elderflower— and talk about how they’ve been used in kitchens and stillrooms through the centuries.
🌱 On the walk you’ll:
• Learn safe identification tips
• Harvest a small amount where appropriate
• Hear simple historical and practical uses
• Pause for herbal drinks and light seasonal bites
• Make a fresh herbal oxymel to take home
Each guest also receives a small herbal salve as a gift.
This is a friendly, small-group walk with time for questions, stories, and enjoying the landscape.
No prior experience needed — just sturdy shoes and curiosity.
🌞You’ll leave with an oxymel — and, if the weather is kind, a bit of wild garlic on your fingers and sunshine on your face.
📍 Location: Thorncroft Farm, Leatherhead.
Exact directions will be sent by email. On-site parking available.
