This is a solo concert for performers of all levels from beginner to grade 8.

Dear Parents/Carer,I am very pleased to invite your child to perform in the Solo Performance Platform taking place this term on the Saturday 7th March 2026, at 17:00. That is a fantastic way for your son/daughter to gain experience and develop confidence as a musician. There will be an accompanist and CD/Bluetooth player available, and performers are encouraged to make use of this facility. This is especially relevant to performers working towards their exams.The concert is open to young musicians of any instrument (including singers) from beginner level to grade 8 to perform. We will allow small acoustic ensembles (up to 4 players), and any budding composers who would like to premier their compositions are also very welcome. Rehearsals with the accompanist are held between 15:30 - 16:30 and are offered on a first come first served basis and therefore not guaranteed. Mistakes during performances are more than welcome and each performance will receive equal enthusiastic support!For this concert, Drummers will need to bring their own drum kit and be able to set up in time. Anyone using an electric guitar, will need to bring their own amp.Please fill in the form and make sure we have all the relevant information.As always, your child will need to work closely and in agreement with their teacher to be included in these performances. Please do not register someone until they know what piece they are going to perform.Each performer can play one piece per instrument though they can play more than one instrument. This may be restricted if there is a high number of applicants.This Eventbrite page is solely to register your child as the performer and is not to purchase tickets for the concert. You can donate £8.00 (£5.00 concessions) on the door using the card reader or with cash.
