Stockroom is an exciting new creative and cultural centre in Stockport, designed for getting together, getting involved or just popping by for a brew. It's been developed with and for local people and the creative community to build an exceptional communal resource for entertainment and learning. Based in the heart of Merseyway Shopping Centre, Stockroom is a welcoming space for all - whether you're visiting our Children's library with family, attending an event, need a quick coffee break mid-shop, or returning a book.

Give your wardrobe a sustainable refresh this Spring with our Stockroom Spring Swap ShopClothing for adults and childrens of all gender acceptedBring up to 5 of your best items that you no longer wear to swap. Items should be clean and good condition. We'll also be running a upcycling workshop to spruce up any garms that need a refreshAll remaining clothes donated after the swap will be donated to Give Your Best Charity <a href="https://giveyourbest.uk/" title="https://giveyourbest.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Give Your Best</a>

How does the swap work? Feel free to drop your items at Stockroom in the week leading up to the swap. This will help us to hang everything ready for the event Please drop your clothes on the day from 11am. We will open the doors to the swap shop at 11:30 You will be given tokens which you can exchange for clothes. One token = one item of clothing Adults and childrens clothes accepted and clothing of all genders Childrens tickets are free. All children must be accompanied by an adult We will have mirrors and rails to hang clothes
