Join us for a unique GM-wide workshop taking place simultaneously across all 10 Greater Manchester localities. Each locality will host its own in‑person session while contributing to a shared set of GM-wide aims. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the region through wider networking.
About the Workshop
This workshop brings together the Mental Health NMHT, VCFSE Mental Health partners, and Creative Health organisations to strengthen collaboration and shared practice. The focus of the day is improving older people’s mental health, wellbeing, independence, and connection to their communities.
What to Expect
The session will include:
- A shared GM-wide introduction
- Local case studies showcasing innovative practice
- A mock MDT-style discussion
- Collaborative development of practical proposals to:
- Reduce isolation
- Improve access to support
- Strengthen prevention
- Ensure older people are fully included in community and creative health opportunities
Who Should Attend
This workshop is designed for colleagues across sectors — including statutory services, VCFSE organisations, and creative health partners — as well as people with lived experience. Support will be available to ensure meaningful participation for all attendees.
