Spruce Up Hazlehead Woods

Join the countryside rangers for a hands-on conservation event at Hazlhead Woods! We're removing non-native spruce saplings to protect our precious native woodlands, which are crucial for the survival of Red Squirrels and other local wildlife. By helping clear these invasive species, you'll be contributing to the health and diversity of the ecosystem. You will get the opportunity to take saplings home, which you can pot up to be your own future Christmas Tree and if we are lucky we may even see a Red Squirrel! All tools will be provided - Just bring your own lunch and holiday spirit!
