Join us on the all-terrain Unimog for a tour with a difference along Spurn at Sunset. Experience the beauty of the Spurn Peninsula as the Sun goes down and learn about the fascinating wildlife and history of this iconic Yorkshire landscape from our knowledgeable guide and climb to the top of the historic Spurn Lighthouse for incredible views.
Please note, this event is not suitable for children under 4 years of age. Children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.
What to bring/wear
Dress for the weather (it can be very cold and exposed at Spurn, so bring plenty of layers!) and wear sturdy footwear, it is advisable to bring a torch/head torch.
Toilets and catering
There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, the cafe stops serving hot food at 3pm and closes at 4pm. There are also toilets at The Point.
Covid-19 measures

Joining us on the day
Please meet at the Spurn Safari vehicle, located beside the road gate to the nature reserve (approx. 300 metres walk from Spurn Discovery Centre car park). Please arrive at the Unimog at least 10 minutes before the start of the event.
Parking
There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
