St Albans Support Group
Overview
We would love to welcome you to our in-person monthly support group in St Albans!
We are also pleased to have our Lending SPACE team coming with lots of equipment ready to borrow!
Our support group is open to all parents/carers/families who are raising children and young people with neurodiverse conditions including autism and ADHD.
Your child/young person does not need a diagnosis in order for you to access our groups, and the support group is FREE to attend.
Booking is not essential but if you do book a place via Eventbrite it helps us to anticipate numbers.
SPACE staff, Mel, Suzie and Katy will be ready and waiting to welcome you. This month we have Pippa Jameson, bestselling author of The Sensory Home, takes a mindful approach to decorating by engaging all the senses. Drawing from her own experience as a child who often felt overwhelmed by her environment and growing up in a neurodivergent family, Pippa blends 25 years of interior design expertise, including her time as an interior editor, with a deep understanding of sensory needs. As a leading designer and creative director, she is dedicated to enhancing well-being through sensory design, using sight, scent, sound, touch, and taste to help create calm homes that support neurodivergent families and mental well-being.
We are a friendly, knowledgeable and supportive team, and the SPACE staff are all SEN parents ourselves, so we really do understand the high's and lows of raising children with neuro-developmental differences.
Teas, coffees and biscuits are all provided!
