As part of the Fort William Mountain Festival 2026, the Lochaber Coastal Rowing Club is offering the opprtunity to festival goers to try rowing our St Ayles Skiff 'Each Dubh'. A row on Loch Linnhe gives you the opportunity to view the mountains from a different angle. You can learn about the local wrecks and Islands, take photos and video or just enjoy the peaceful experience of being on the water and rowing! No previous rowing experience is required and a cox and essential safety equipment is provided (bouyancy aid or life jacket!). Please dress in warn and waterproof clothing for the weather and wear something on your feet that you don't mind getting wet. The ticket fee for this event is going towards our fundraiser for a launching trolley and road trailor. Meet at Corpach Marina or if you need a pick up from the Nevis Centre please say so in your booking and meet 1/2 hour before your rowing session is due to start. There is a Hi Bike station and car park with EV charging at the nearby Kilmallie Hall. At the Marina itself there are toilets and a cafe.
