Overview

A one day pilgrimage through stunning Northumbrian countryside

Rural Ministries and St Cuthbert's Way Churches Together invite you to a one-day pilgrimage on Saturday 21st March 2026. We’ll be walking a section of St Cuthbert’s Way from Wooller to Cuthbert’s Cave, about 8.5 miles.

Pilgrimage is a sacred and intentional journey. So let’s take time out of our regular routines and rhythms to create space for encounter, to listen and be with God.

This promises to be a wonderful experience as we move through the beauty of Northumberland, walking ancient paths and encouraging one another.

Please dress appropriately for a day of walking i.e. good walking boots and waterproofs. You’ll need to bring your own packed lunch and drinks.

We will meet at 10am at Wooller United Reformed Church. Transport from Cuthbert’s Cave back to Wooller at the end of the day will be provided, arrivng back in Wooler by 3:30pm.

The event is free but please register so we know who to expect.
