Staging Difficult Pasts
This panel will analyse and compare international approaches to staging difficult pasts across major theatres and museums, including the Teatre Lliure (Barcelona) and the Cricoteka & Ethnographic Museum (Krakow).
<A HREF="https://www.cssd.ac.uk/staff/prof-maria-delgado-ba-ma-phd-mae-sfhea-frsa" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Maria Delgado</A> (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama) and <A HREF="https://pure.royalholloway.ac.uk/portal/en/persons/bryce-lease(815571d1-d8e3-4261-8b9b-315b90252ce3).html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bryce Lease</A> (Royal Holloway) will consider how historical memory is given dramatic shape or performatively confronted by theatre makers and curators primarily through narrative and object.
What Is ResearchWorks?
The Guildhall School’s ResearchWorks is a programme of events centred around the School’s research activity, bringing together staff, students and guests of international standing. We run regular events throughout the term intended to share the innovative research findings of the school and its guests with students, staff and the public.
