Course Description
This course is aimed at surgeons with experience in small animal orthopaedics, who wish to offer TPLO as a treatment option for patients with cranial cruciate ligament failure. The course will cover the biomechanical rationale and evolution of the TPLO technique, case-selection and surgical planning, surgical approach and execution, post-operative care and evaluation, and the identification, minimisation and management of complications. Course content will be delivered through a combination of didactic presentations, case-based discussions, and dry-lab and wet-lab practicals.
