Event description

Do you hate networking? Then this could be the event for you!

Members of the Gender Equality Network (GEN) have told us that they don't like networking or don't feel equipped to do it effectively, but recognise that it can be a powerful tool for doing their jobs better and supporting career progression.

This session, led by Tash Pennant an expert speaker with a background in communications, will focus on some of the key challenges people may face:

  • Networking (what it is and isn't)

  • Exiting conversations

  • Maintaining relationships

A segment of facilitated networking will also happen within the session for you to try out some of the techniques in a supportive environment.

Spaces are limited for the event so please sign up here on Event Brite.

Unfortunately this event will work best if you can attend in person so we are unable to offer remote dial in / access for those not based in GMH on this occasion.

This is an event organised by the Gender Equality Network (GEN).
