It’s the BIG StarBase Leicester 20th Birthday Party!
Every year we’re amazed to think of all the lives we’ve been a part of from friends to families, to helping lost students starting out and being there to cheer geeks on and being a place members can be themselves and feel valued as awesome people! Since lock down it’s been tough reaching people but the ties are still there, as strong as ever. So no matter where in the world you are, off on adventures far far away or right here in our home city… you’re part of the StarBase Leicester story and we’re here cheering you on *big cheer*. Everyone can celebrate with us this October in a number of ways so see below and we’d love to see you at an event.
Things tonight:
- Theme/activity: Birthday Party with Record breaking activities, games and lego thrown in! Music, Snacks, a captains speech and a golden badge for everyone!
- Collaborative poster: we’ll be designing a poster on the night that we can all share and display with pride.
- Bring activities too – games and crafts all welcome
- Brings snacks and food big pot luck style – cake, pop, crisp, biscuits, sandwiches, fruit, sweets, etc (if home made include the complete ingredients list)
- Doors open 6:30pm
- Earn an event towards your 2026 Golden Club Badge.
Other celebrations:
- T-shirts and merchandise, available soon
- Send in your club memories or questions for the captain (interview style) and we’ll feature as many as possible on our platforms
- Bonus trip to…. (watch this space)

- Please only attend if you feel 100% well/usual
- Over 18’s only
- Tickets not vital but guarantee entry. Access code (anti bot tactics): available on social website/facebook and discord
- Hand sanitizer will be provided and you’re welcome to bring your own
