Welcome to the Starla Business Networking Event at The Business Centre, Cardiff! Join us on October 22, 2025 at 10:30 AM for a morning of networking and collaboration. Connect with fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and expand your business horizons. Don't miss this opportunity to grow your network and make valuable connections.

Agenda

10.30am - Arrive to welcome drinks and and informal networking.

10.45am - Introductions. This is your opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to the group. No pitches necesssary. No need to stand up (unless you want to). Our intros are always relaxed.

11.10am - Our Guest Speaker, Beth Baldwin, The Fabulous Facilitator and Women's Academy Wales, will be sharing her tips on how we can feel Empowered. As its also Mental Health awareness month, we will be discussing the issues that affect women in business.

11.45am - Time for questions and reflection. Refill your coffees.

12pm - Relaxed networking.

12.30pm Meeting ends.

Guest Speaker, Beth Baldwin

Beth is an award winning trainer, campaigner and fundraiser.

She has supported women in business for over 20 years. Roles include managing the largest team in Wales for Ann Summers, Project Managing women's programmes for Welsh gender equality charities and delivering Leadership training and many varied career development workshops. She's trained over 1000 women and empowered over 10,000. She coaches women to break barriers and see beyond their potential.

Beth won a Pride of Britain award for fundraiser of the year for Wales, for her work in spreading awareness of the symptoms of type 1 diabetes, the condtion, which sadly killed her 13 year old son, Peter.

We are so lucky to have her as guest speaker!

Our Meeting Room

Our event will take place in one of the meeting rooms at The Business Centre, Barry. As you can see, the room is designed for a more focused event. Our aim is that you leave with lots of notes, motivation and inspiration. But don't worry, our Starla events will always be friendly, encouraging and supportive.

There is free parking on site or on the roads outside the Business Centre.
