Southwark Pioneers Fund: Grow Your Enterprise

The Southwark Pioneers Fund will offer founders of established Southwark businesses the chance to take part in free expert-led workshops & get 1:1 support. Graduates of a free Accelerator programme will also be able to apply for up to £10k grant funding.

<h3>About the Speaker: Alex Birtles</h3> Alex Birtles is an award-winning, purpose-driven entrepreneur, pitch coach and public speaker. She is the the co-founder and CEO of In Good Company, a female-founded, tech-for- good company on a mission to drive growth for small, ethical and sustainable businesses which are prioritising people, the planet, and positive change.With a background in PR, she has excellent communication skills and is a seasoned public speaker, having pitched successfully for investment, grants and in start-up competitions. Alex regularly trains other impact and underrepresented founders how to pitch with confidence. Alex was named one of the most influential womxn of the industry by Startups Magazine a Top 100 female entrepreneur by f:entrepreneur and a Top 100 social entrepreneur by Natwest and Pioneers Post in 2023. She is also a judge for the Mayor’s Entrepreneurs Competition for student entrepreneur.
