❓Why is Startup Sunday just for women and non-binary people?

We focus on women and non-binary people because they often face extra barriers in business, from confidence to caring commitments. Startup Sunday provides a safe, supportive space to connect, share experiences and build confidence together.

❓Do I need to already have a business?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! Many of our attendees are still exploring ideas. Whether you’re dreaming, starting or growing, you’ll be made very welcome.

Question 3

❓What should I bring?

Just yourself and your curiosity! A notebook and pen are handy for workshop notes, but we’ll have a few spares. Free tea, coffee and snacks are provided.

❓Can I bring my children?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Southsea Library is family-friendly with books and small activities. We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between your business and your babies.

Question 5

❓Do I need to book a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Booking helps us plan refreshments (and it's helpful  if you can let us know if you are bringing children), but it’s not essential. Tickets are free, and you’re welcome to drop in at any time, and if you forget to book, you can do it on arrival.
