Startups 101 powered by Tech Trust and Generator
Date and time
Description
Generator is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Newcastle Tech Trust to deliver a series of focussed workshops, aimed at tech founders.
Newcastle Tech Trust is a group of experienced founders and operators that recognises and understands the needs of early-stage, high-growth technology companies.
Customer Development for Startups
Every startup begins with a great idea, but how do you find out if there's a market for your business before you spend thousands developing an app that no one might actually want?
We'll share tried and tested methods from our own companies, and the hundreds of companies we've worked with that you can use to quickly identify market opportunities and your ideal customers.
This workshop is limited to 10 tech start-up businesses, each business can bring 3 members of staff in total.
Speakers:
Tristan Watson, CEO of Ignite. A former startup entrepreneur, Tristan now heads up the Ignite accelerator programme, which has invested in more than 150 companies from across the UK. Ignite is there to help UK
entrepreneurs build better businesses. They offer 3-6 months of startup support and investment (currently for founders and businesses in the North East) from a global network of founders, mentors and investors.
Jo York, Co Founder and COO of Ricochet and Co Founder of WatchWithMe.
