Public transport?

There are a number of bus stops within a 5 minute walk of the mill with direct connections to Manchester, Wigan and Warrington. A 25 minute walk away is the V1 bus to Manchester which operates a night-bus service.

Parking?

There is a limited amount of free parking on-site. You should use the visitor car park to the left, do not park beyond the gate (straight ahead).

Refreshments?

We have no license to sell alcohol, but you may bring your own. We do have a number of soft drinks and snacks available to purchase. There is a "micro-pub" in the mill which allows takeaway drinks and a number of off-licenses and chippys within a short walk.

Question 4

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the building has lift-access and there are no level-changes inside the building. However, the lift prone to breakdown and the approach to the entrance of Leigh Spinners Mill is unpaved and multi-surface, so caution should be exercised.  The status of the lift will be reported on the day.

How do I find STAT HQ?

Accepted Answer

We are based on Floor 5 of Leigh Spinners Mill and can be reach by stair or lift access. Once on floor 5 follow the corridor straight ahead towards the far end, we are the last door on the left.
