To celebrate the launch of StateUp 21, we're bringing together founders, investors, and policy experts to discuss the future of GovTech. 

Join us for the launch event of <a href="https://stateup.co/stateup-21/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">StateUp 21</a>, our new flagship publication providing data-driven sector GovTech insights and expert analysis of 21 of the highest quality innovative startups working with public sectors globally. The publication aims both to provide data-driven analysis of the current state of GovTech, and to bring awareness of the 21 selected startups to top government officials, policy professionals, investors, academics, and technologists.We’ll be discussing the opportunities and challenges that the GovTech sector faces in 2021, and how leading founders, investors and policy experts view them. Audience participation and Q&A will be encouraged.Speakers include:Tiffany Chu, CEO and Co-Founder of Remix: Tiffany Chu is a designer, planner, and the CEO &amp; co-founder of Remix. She and her team work with 350+ cities around the world to plan their mobility future. She has been named in Forbes' 30 Under 30, LinkedIn's Next Wave of Leaders Under 35, Curbed’s Young Guns, and has spoken at SXSW, Helsinki Design Week, the New York Times Cities for Tomorrow Conference, and more. Tiffany serves as a commissioner of the San Francisco Department of the Environment and sits on the city’s Congestion Pricing Policy Advisory Committee. Previously, Tiffany was a fellow at Code for America, the first UX hire at Zipcar, and is an alum of Y Combinator. Tiffany has a background in architecture and urban planning from MIT. When not at work, Tiffany enjoys yoga, bike riding, ceramics, spending time with family and friends, and hiking with her dog. Aline Muylaert, Co-Founder of CitizenLab: Aline Muylaert is the Co-Founder &amp; Head of Government Relations at CitizenLab. Citizenlab is an online participation platform used by over 200 governments in more than 15 countries use the platform. She has been included on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list and is a Fellow at her alma mater Vrije Universiteit Brussels.Daniel Korski CBE, CEO and Co-Founder of PUBLIC: Daniel Korski, CBE is the Chief Executive Officer at PUBLIC and has 20 years of experience in senior positions in government across the UK, EU, and US. Daniel was most recently Deputy Head of Policy at No. 10 Downing Street and Special Advisor to David Cameron. Daniel was previously adviser to the Vice-President of the European Commission and has previously worked for the UN and Foreign Office in Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen. He co-founded PUBLIC to enable tech startups to transform the way public services are run and delivered.Dr. Stephen Unger, Commissioner, Geospatial Commission (UK) Steve Unger was until recently a Board member of Ofcom, the UK regulator responsible for digital communications. He had various responsibilities, including setting regulatory strategy for the UK, representing Ofcom in international negotiations, and leading Ofcom's technology programme. He spent a brief period as Acting Chief Executive. Before becoming a regulator Steve spent several years in the private sector. He worked for a variety of "Silicon Fen" start-ups whose focus was the commercial exploitation of new wireless technologies. He subsequently became a board member of Cambridge Wireless, an organisation which brings together ~400 companies with an interest in communications technology. He now holds a variety of non-executive and advisory roles in the technology sector, including as a Commissioner with the Geospatial Commission. He is a research affiliate at the Bennett Institute of Public Policy in Cambridge. A common theme across his work is an interest in how markets exploit disruptive technologies, and how public policy can maximise the resulting benefits.
