The British Beauty Council was founded to represent the voices, opinions and needs of the British beauty industry – from hairdressing to cosmetics, cosmetic surgery, therapy and spa; in education and training; and from formulation to manufacture, supply, logistics packaging, design, retail and media.We are a not-for-profit, inclusive organisation that works to engage politicians and business leaders about the value of British beauty to the national economy, and its key role in the UK’s creative and cultural character.Our ambition is to ensure that the beauty industry is recognised and valued at all levels of government, throughout the wider economy and by consumers.

Date &amp; Time: Monday 5th September 13:00 to 14:00About: The British Beauty Council is launching the Future Talent Programme. As part of this, the Council is working with STEM Learning to mobilise a new raft of British Beauty Council Ambassadors who will work within the STEM Learning Ambassador Network to promote the beauty industry and the many science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers within it, in schools.The British Beauty Council welcomes dynamic and interesting individuals and brand representatives covering job roles across all STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) to attend and find out more about becoming an Ambassador. We want to create that lightbulb moment for a student with an interest in augmented reality, saving the planet, beauty blogging, product formulation, or greenwashing by providing relatable individuals who can convey their personal journey combining the world of beauty with their job role.
